Dedicated planning workflows for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI)
3mensio Valves™ medical imaging software is a clinical application. It is specially designed for and with cardiovascular specialists. The software creates superb-quality 3D images from 2D CTA, US or XA studies. It includes dedicated workflows to accurately analyze the aortic valve and determine the right operative approach.
Anytime, anywhere
No longer settle for bulky, stationary equipment to analyze critical patient images. The 3mensio Valves™ advanced planning software can be installed on virtually any Windows-based laptop or desktop. Now you can plan transcatheter aortic valve implantations anytime, anywhere.
Fast & accurate
The intuitive graphical user interface that was developed for 3mensio Valves™ simplifies your workflow. This enables you to quickly and accurately visualize and analyze the vasculature and the aortic valve. You obtain one report of each session with multiple series and multiple imaging modalities. The end result? Better insight into your patient’s pathology, leading to less invasive and more precise procedures.

Measurements & annotations
Substantiate your analysis with exact measurements such as length, diameter, angulation and region of interest (ROI). With Short Axes View you can perform accurate diameter measurements, while Stretched View facilitates performing precise length measurements. You can also add your own annotations.
Valve anatomy
Minimum Intensity Projection (MinIP) lets you visually inspect the anatomy of the valve without the obstructions of the calcifications.
Hockey Puck
The Hockey Puck feature isolates the aortic valve in a small, cylindrical Volume of Interest (VOI). This allows you to easily analyze the calcification of the aortic valve and its surroundings in detail from all sides.
Compass
The handy compass feature enhances your orientation between the perpendicular, Hockey Puck, stretched and oblique views.
Multi-modality study/series support.
3mensio Valves™ creates one report out of different imaging modalities, such as CT, ultrasound, and angiography. It also allows you to load different series from different studies into one session, thus enabling you to create a report over different studies.
Transfemoral & transapical workflows
3mensio Valves™ includes dedicated workflows to assess the possibility of a femoral or apex approach. After clicking one of the workflow icons, the workflow focuses on a particular area. This enables you to perform precision measurements in just a few easy steps.
Femoral analysis
- One-click vessel segmentation and automated centre lumen line detection
- Perpendicular diameter measurements
- Stretched View to visualize calcification levels, the minimal diameter threshold and the tortuosity index of both iliacs in one single overview
- Angio View to simulate the optimal C-arm rotation
Apex analysis
- Obtain a detailed view of the anatomical shape of the septum
- Determine a straight access line from the apex entry point to the centre of the aortic valve and define the entry angle to the Aortic Valve Annulus
- Identify the best intercostal space to make an anterolateral incision
- Use the rotating double oblique of the complete left ventricle to quickly detect thrombus in the left ventricle or indications of hypertrophy
